He has Spanish descent and shares the same name as his father who built their family business during World War II. It was his grandfather who established Manila’s port in South Harbor in the early 20th century. It was in 1987 that he inherited the family business, International Container Terminal Services, Inc. The business grew to become the largest corporation and port giant that provides container port terminal services in different locations across the Philippines: Batangas, General Santos City, Manila, and Subic. They also have international operations in Brazil and Poland.
Enrique Razon Jr. also has a scholarship grant named Enrique Razon Athletic Scholarship Endowment Fund. He owns one of the teams in the Philippine Basketball League (PBL), the De La Salle University Green Archers.
